Responsibilities

  • Partner with product leaders to develop success measurement and metric narratives for product priorities that tie back to retention and business outcomes
  • Drive cross-functional workstreams from metric definition to data instrumentation
  • Become an expert in translating ambiguous business questions into analyses with actionable insights and communicating these insights to stakeholders with a data-driven point of view and plan for action
  • Lead through the example of your work by delivering projects that set the standard for utility, completeness, accuracy, interpretability, and extensibility
  • Advise on the approach / analytical framework for high-complexity projects within Product Analytics; mentor analysts to help their projects succeed
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve standards, process, approach, or delivery for analytics work across the org; advocate for improvements in architecture, data governance, or standards across HubSpot Analytics
  • Own the end-to-end metric work in emerging product areas—partnering with product management to define usage measurements, working with engineers to ingest and model usage data, and driving the definition of “what good looks like” via analyses of new & existing usage data
  • Deliver effective exploratory analyses and advanced methods to identify trends and key drivers of customer retention
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to improve retention and revenue growth
