Responsibilities

  • Will be assigned to a main department, however, will support all areas of the distribution center including but not limited to value added services, receiving, returns, damages, picking, packing, transfers, shipping, and overall movement of inventory as business needs dictate
  • Employees may be assigned a new home department depending on business needs
  • Picks, packs, processes, and ships orders in a timely and accurate manner as assigned by leadership
  • Meets or exceeds engineered metrics i.e., units picked per hour/orders per hour and takes personal responsibility around daily metrics and performance
  • Can effectively use and solve basic problems in: Picking/putting systems, Scanners, Etc.
  • Understands safety guidelines for department and maintains a safe work environment through our safety program and lean mentality
  • Keeps their warehouse area clean and always organized
  • Engages in training, team building, meetings, and personal development
  • Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with DC Guidelines and company policies
