The position of Credit Manager Supervisor will be based out of our Dallas, TX location!

Summary

The Credit Manager Supervisor is responsible for supervising a small team of Credit Managers and Specialist who are assigned accounts receivable portfolio's as it relates to credit and collections. Responsible for the credit risk process, including annual credit reviews of existing customers and the assessment of the credit worthiness of potential customers, with the goal of optimizing sales and minimizing bad debt.

What You'll Do


 * Supervises a staff of Credit Managers and Specialists in the completion of various Credit Management responsibilities
 * Provides credit and other training to employees in order that they can obtain greater proficiency in their work in addition to increasing responsibility
 * Helps the Region Credit Manager with work assignments and special projects
 * Ensures Credit Managers are adhering to credit and collection policies and procedures
 * Approves credit limits within assigned authority, both unsecured and secured risk
 * Effectively communicates and escalates issues and information to the Regionl Credit Manager on a timely basis
 * Prepares performance reviews and establishes individual and team goals
 * Conducts monthly AR reviews with credit managers
 * Manages a portfolio of accounts and perform collection calls for accounts
 * Other duties as assigned

What You'll Need


 * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
 * 5+ years of experience
 * Construction or related trade/supply experience a plus

 * Ability to consistently demonstrate sound judgment in decision making

 * Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal positively with conflict
 * Efficient and effective time management and organizational skills
 * Technical proficiency in Excel, Word, and internet searches
 * Overnight travel to the area of responsibility
 * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment efficiently
 * Working knowledge in the application of Mechanic's liens and bond regulations
 * Get Paid collection software experience, a plus
 * Analytical skills to identify trends and interpret financial data
