Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
  • Preferred qualifications:
  • SQL
  • Python (bonus but not required)
  • experience with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • As a Spectrum Intern, you’ll be essential to two teams — your respective department and your Intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 29th, webinars, community service, cross-functional project, and final presentations.
  • Internship responsibilities may include
  • The role of the 2024 Summer Intern: Territory Management Analyst will be to support the Enterprise Territory Management team in its day-to-day operations, as well as prepare data for Enterprise Sales’ annual planning activities. Responsibilities will include:
  • Account creation and assignment to support the Enterprise sales teams in real time.
  • Salesforce data cleanup tasks such as resolving duplicate records and validating sales channel assignments.
  • Auditing Salesforce accounts and opportunities for compliance with the Enterprise Sales Rules of Engagement.
  • Analyzing large datasets to ensure data accuracy.
  • Utilizing market analytics data to make territory design and staffing recommendations.
  • The Enterprise Territory Management team plays a critical role in supporting Spectrum Enterprise. Our constant presence ensures proper account assignments for the sales teams, while the data we produce directly informs senior leadership’s decisions regarding the implementation of our Sales Distribution Strategy. A Territory Management Analyst requires creative and critical thinking, and the ability to extract meaningful, actionable data from various sources. We will primarily work in Teradata SQL, Excel, Tableau, and Salesforce.
