What is the duration of the Audit Assistant Internship?
The Audit Assistant Internship lasts for six weeks, starting on 16 June 2025.
What type of work will I be involved in during the internship?
During the internship, you will be involved in working with the Audit team, participating in a detailed, risk-based review of financial records, processes, and controls to form opinions on the accuracy of financial statements.
Is the internship paid?
Yes, the internship is a paid programme.
What qualifications do I need to apply for this internship?
You need to be in your second year of university and have a minimum of 112 UCAS points across 3 A Levels or an equivalent level 3 qualification, or 104 UCAS points across 4 Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or Irish Leaving Certificate (Higher Level) and a predicted honours degree.
Are there any specific skills that I need to have?
Yes, effective verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, organizational and time management skills, and an interest in business and commerce are essential.
Will I get support and training during the internship?
Yes, you will receive training on building relationships and resilience, enhancing presentation and communication skills, and you will work in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Can I fast track my offer for the graduate programme through this internship?
Yes, successful interns could fast track their offer to join the graduate programme.
What is the application process for this internship?
You need to submit your application as RSM only accepts one application per recruitment cycle for different vacancies.
Can international students apply for this internship?
Following changes to government policy in April 2024, applications are only accepted from individuals with an existing, permanent right to live and work in the UK.
