What are the main responsibilities of a CNN Sports Intern in the ATL office?
The main responsibilities include assisting the sports newsgathering team, monitoring social media for news reactions, supporting the CNN World Sport show team, coordinating game recordings, copyediting scripts and banners, and assisting with administrative and production tasks.
What qualifications and experience are required for the CNN Sports Intern position?
Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of social media as a news tool, have a passion for sports and storytelling, experience creating content, interest in sports appealing to an international audience, proficiency with video editing software, be actively enrolled in a college or university degree program, be a Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
How often is the intern expected to be in the office?
The intern will be expected to join the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager's in-office schedule.
Can international students apply for this internship?
