  • Your experience and education:
  • You are fully bilingual in both English and French
  • You are enrolled in an accounting focused post-secondary program with the intention of pursuing the CPA designation
  • You have a strong interest in pursuing a career in risk advisory with an interest in exploring the CIA or CISA designations
  • You have a desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork
  • You have excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas effectively, both written and orally
  • You have strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • You have the ability to prioritize competing deliverables with varying deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Work on a variety of engagement types, including internal audit, Third Party Assurance CSAE 3416/ SSAE 18 (SOC1, SOC2, SOC3), enterprise risk management, internal controls assessment, program evaluation, independent project review, business process enhancement/re-design, and IT general and application controls assessments
  • Review, document, evaluate, and test business processes and internal controls for design and operational effectiveness in a wide range of environments
  • Maintain a proactive and logical approach to information gathering, with an ability to combine complex ideas and present information in a concise manner
  • Assist with the development of risk assessments
  • Develop client deliverables, including analyses, recommendations, and reporting documentation
  • Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork with engagement team members, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness and quality of deliverables and services.
