Requirements

  • Proficiency with at least one 3D design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino or 3ds Max, Blender)
  • Computer proficiency within a Windows environment such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with BIM Concepts and processes
  • Solid understanding of Rhino
  • Experience with Unreal Engine and developing VR Experiences
  • Significant experience with Autodesk Revit
  • Portfolio (included via URL link on resume, no attachments)
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at the time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior, recent graduate, or graduate student
  • Major or previous coursework in Business, Supply chain, Finance, Data Management, Fashion Merchandising, Costume Technology, Apparel Buying, Apparel Development, Sourcing, or related field
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
  • Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
  • Available to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week; possible nights and weekends) for the duration of the internship
  • Able to provide own housing in the Orlando, FL area and have reliable transportation to/from work (We provide limited housing opportunities for Florida-based Professional Interns through American Campus Communities; for more information, click here)

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrating knowledge of basic design, including 2D digital drawings as well as 3D modeling
  • Assisting with in-the-field information gathering via laser scanning, digital photographs and physical measurements
  • Giving to the advancement of the Pre-visualization part of the design workflow
  • Facilitating a design from art concept through bid package, as part of a collective design process
  • Participating in appropriate DLE seminars and meetings
  • Coordinating conference room logistics for project/creative reviews and shows
