Requirements

Students who want to take on real responsibility during their year in industry, and who want to take advantage of a structured Intern Development Programme.
Currently studying a degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations or a related field, and looking for a 12 month placement.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.

Responsibilities

During your 12 month Internship with us, you can expect to support:
1. Transition/Ramp-up Preparations:
Collaborate with the team in planning and executing the smooth transition to the new facility.
Contribute to the ramp-up preparations, ensuring a seamless integration of operations.
2. Operational Improvement Projects:
Work on projects aimed at enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing operations.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and contribute to the implementation of improvement strategies.
3. Quality & Safety Improvement Projects:
Play a crucial role in initiatives focused on improving product quality and ensuring a safe working environment.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement quality and safety best practices.
4. Structured Development Programme:
Participate in our 12 month Intern development programme teaching softer skills alongside the role.
This 12-month internship placement will provide you with hands-on experience and the chance to make a meaningful contribution to our team, and to our future.

Further assessment usually takes the form of interview or/and an assessment centre. Assessment centres typically include some combination of activities such as group problem-solving tasks, individual interviews, presentations and in-tray exercises.
In most cases we try to hold these final stage interviews or assessments in person where possible, to enable candidates to meet our team and get to understand a little bit more about what we do and what it might be like to work for us.
