What qualifications do I need to apply for this internship?
Candidates should be currently enrolled in an undergraduate-level degree-seeking program related to math, statistics, scientific computing, data and analytics, business analytics, marketing, or a related field.
Is this internship paid?
Yes, this is a paid internship, with an hourly range of $18 for undergraduates, $21 for graduate students, and $28 for Ph.D. candidates.
Are there opportunities to learn specific frameworks or methodologies during the internship?
Yes, interns will have the opportunity to learn and apply AARP’s Design Thinking framework and Agile principles and practices.
Are there any specific coding languages or tools that I should be familiar with?
Yes, candidates should have college-level experience with coding practices and languages such as Java, C/C++, Python, and should also be familiar with popular business tools like Windows, Office Professional, Visio, and SharePoint.
Will I receive employee benefits during the internship?
No, internships are non-exempt positions and are not eligible for employee benefits.
