The primary responsibility of an International Pharmacy Intern is to support pharmacy teams in delivering patient care and managing pharmacy operations while gaining hands-on experience and preparing for a Pharmacist role.
What qualifications are required to apply for this position?
Applicants must be foreign graduates from a non-US accredited college or school of pharmacy and should have passed the FPGEE and TOEFL. Additionally, they must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
How long do I have to complete my internship hours?
You are required to complete your internship hours within 18 months of starting the program.
What happens if I don't obtain my Pharmacist licensure within the prescribed time?
Failure to obtain your Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of completing your internship hours will result in separation from employment.
