Requirements

  • Junior actively pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering (Preference will be given to students graduating in 2026)
  • Completed a course work in statistics
  • Able to effectively communicate in both written and spoken English
  • Strong skills in technical report writing
  • Comfortable using the MS Office suite of programs, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiar with JMP of Minitab software tool is preferred
  • Familiar or have hands-on experience with electronic lab equipment, making bench electrical measurements using signal generators, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
  • Eager to learn and ability to communicate technical results to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Desire to work with others, yet able to work alone on individual tasks with minimum supervision
  • Ability to draw conclusions based on collected data
  • US citizen or green card holder: This internship requires access to documentation that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency, or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8USC 1324b(a)(3).

Responsibilities

  • Be a member of the Process and Test Engineering (PTE) team
  • Assist with projects associated with continuous improvement, cost savings and test platform transfer
  • Be assigned projects primarily by the Manager of PTE; work closely with members of the PTE staff to learn the required skills and complete tasks
  • Assist in new hardware verification for components on the BOM, correctly installed onto the PCBA, polarity, and value
  • Assist in capturing Sync pulse plot, compiling plots into Test list with the guidance of Test Engineer on ETS-364 tester using scope
  • Support in running Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) tests, report compilation, and statistical analysis (Cpk)
  • Assist in the review and analysis of TESEC daily verification data, and perform station to station plot differences
  • Other Product Engineering Assignments as needs arise
