What is the duration of the Outpatient Internship?
The internship is designed to be completed through a full academic year, beginning in Fall 2025.
What qualifications are required to apply for this internship?
Candidates must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree and be currently enrolled in their second year of a Master’s Level Program for a license-eligible degree.
Is there any specific application process for the internship?
Yes, candidates must submit their application along with any required documentation, including proof of citizenship and completion of a CORI and drug test.
Will interns receive supervision during the internship?
Yes, interns will receive high-quality training and supervision related to their roles and responsibilities as counselors/therapists.
What types of therapy will interns be involved with?
Interns will gain experience in individual therapy, group therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, medication evaluation and management, and school-based treatment, among other services.
Are there any specific benefits provided during the internship?
Yes, interns will enjoy a challenging and rewarding work environment, frequent reviews of their goals, consistent feedback on recordkeeping, and the completion of evaluation forms.
