Requirements

  • We want to see great communication skills developed through well-rounded life experience – academically, socially and in any previous work situations. Technical abilities are obviously a must, so you’ll need to be a Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or Engineering major with a focus in Materials.
  • Standing/Graduation Eligibility: Attending an accredited college/university working towards a bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0
  • Preferred qualifications (but not required): We would like to see our candidates have laboratory course experience for this internship

Responsibilities

  • Execute materials engineering projects to support manufacturing, design, or service, including project planning and management, experimentation, modeling, and analysis
  • Analyze results and publish reports detailing procedure and conclusions
  • Make presentations on project status and milestones
  • Work with engineering teams to execute larger projects
