Responsibilities

  • Compliance with the planning cycle, to produce a credible plan to meet customer demands including inventory, logistics and storage considerations
  • Ensure pre-production activities are undertaken to ensure the system is maintained with robust credible data that creates suitable supply plans, taking actions to rectify inaccuracies
  • Work with your supply chain to manage their orderbook/project plans and make balanced decisions to ensure business priorities are supported to best satisfy customer demands
  • Have a working knowledge of the load and capacity factors that could potentially affect the ability of the supply chain to deliver against plan and offer mitigations
  • Awareness of inventory logistics implications across the value stream and optimise inventory, whilst minimising customer delivery risk/costs
  • Ensure robust answers are given to any Sales and Operation Planning questions through the Demands Management process
  • To carry out and input to required business and operational reviews to understand capability to deliver to demand requirements, to define and manage actions to mitigate risks and issues
  • To operate to the relevant policies and procedures as defined and comply with RRMS
