What are the basic qualifications for applicants?
Candidates must have an interest in working with food crops in greenhouses, a valid U.S. Driver's License, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in hot and humid conditions, and be fully available through their departure date. Additionally, they must adhere to Disney Look guidelines.
What educational background is required for this internship?
Applicants should have an applicable background or degree in Plant Science, Horticulture, Food Crops, Biology, or a related major with a minimum grade point average of 2.0.
Are there any guidelines for candidates not currently participating in a Disney Program?
Yes, candidates must be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate from an accredited U.S. college or university, have completed at least one semester by the time of arrival, be at least 18 years old, and meet any individual school requirements.
Is previous Disney Program experience beneficial for this application?
Yes, it is recommended to include current and past Disney Programs experience in your resume/CV when applying for this internship.
