  • * Must have a valid driver’s license, with a verifiable safe driving record, and safely operate a company-supplied motor vehicle, daily, for duties related to this position
  • * Must be a rising sophomore, junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree OR are currently enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution
  • * Must be available to live and work in Los Angeles or your assigned office location throughout the duration of your 3-month program during the summer months
  • * Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Familiarize self with our internal systems and identify areas for research to improve Player Development practices
  • Operate various technologies such as Trackman, Hawkeye, virtual reality, etc.
  • Implement, execute, and monitor daily usage of wearable technology, building out reports and tools to share findings with coaches and staff
  • Work on assigned and independent projects, utilizing our internal systems and organizational resources
  • Assist with player programming and Arizona Operations tasks as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

The Los Angeles Dodgers are a professional baseball team based in Los Angeles, California. The Dodgers are members of the National League West division of Major League Baseball (MLB). The team originated in Brooklyn, New York, where it was known by a number of nicknames before becoming the Dodgers definitively by 1932. The team moved to Los Angeles before the 1958 season. The Dodgers front office comprises approximately 300 full-time and 1,400 part-time employees. The Dodgers have won seven World Series titles and 21 National League pennants. Eight Cy Young Award winners have pitched for the Dodgers, winning a total of ten Cy Young Awards (both MLB records). The team has also produced 12 Rookie of the Year award winners, including four back-to-back from 1979–1982 and five back-to-back from 1992–1996, the longest consecutive streaks in Major League Baseball.
