  • To perform entry level work of a routine nature requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related tasks.
  • The Intern will be involved in the day-to-day activities of the team included aiding other departments as they relate to department projects.
  • We expect the intern to gain an in-depth knowledge of the product and its associated processes, particularly the process activities in-which they will be directly involved.
  • The intern will have opportunities to assist in nearly all aspects of the workflow.
  • This position in Material Characterization Group will support the group’s regular investigations of metallic, polymeric and ceramic materials.
  • The intern will learn about various analysis methods and tools that drive critical research questions.
  • Perform experiments and analyze and interpret numerical data from experiments.
  • Summarizes findings by computer readouts, statistical summaries, graphs and other methods.
  • Understand key material properties and how that affects product performance.
  • Prepare reports and present technical data.
