  • We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic mental health practitioners to work and train within our service.
  • This is a training position and so all candidates will need to apply for both the trainee role with our organisation and the KCL Post Graduate Diploma in Child and Young Person IAPT Therapy in order to be shortlisted.

  • Under intensive supervision, CYP-IAPT training will support you to enhance your existing knowledge and experience of parenting interventions.
  • The role will give you an exciting opportunity to join our growing and supportive Mental Health Support Team to further expand our offer of parenting interventions into school, and contribute to the development of the service.

Responsibilities

  • Under intensive supervision, CYP-IAPT training will support you to enhance your existing knowledge and experience of parenting interventions, to offer guided self-help interventions alongside well-established evidence-based parenting interventions for primary-aged children with significant behaviour problems (Incredible Years Programme and Personalised Individual Parent Training Programme for complex presentations).
  • The role will give you an exciting opportunity to join our growing and supportive Mental Health Support Team to further expand our offer of parenting interventions into school, and contribute to the development of the service.
  • The roles will be exciting and varied, and include offering individual and group work, enabling the post holders to develop a range of skills and experience whilst studying for a Postgraduate Diploma in Child & Young Person IAPT Therapy. The post provides excellent opportunities for professional development and regular supervision.
