Requirements

  • Essentials needed for the positions that are similar across the above roles (these do not all have to apply to every single role)
  • Attention to detail
  • Interest in Talent Relations/Events a plus
  • Knowledge of entertainment industry
  • Technologically savvy and quick to learn new programs
  • Experience with office tools such as Google Suite, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone.
  • Live event experience
  • Great organizational skills
  • A great multi-tasker
  • Charismatic and creative, a self-starter, inspired by ideas and team-oriented

  • Must be actively enrolled in a U.S. accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior Undergrad Student (18 years or older)
  • Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA)
  • Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in travel and logistics for Food Network shoots involving talent at the NY office.
  • Researching and providing birthday and milestone gift ideas for US Network talent June – August.
  • Track and help coordinate internal requests from network teams and support groups.
  • Collect and organize promotional assets to be distributed to talent teams.
  • Maintain Confidential Talent information in Salesforce database, including contact information, representation, brand use, and other key details.
  • Accompany and coordinate Talent at activities and events, such as marketing and ad sales shoots.
  • Keep department contact sheets up-to-date with updated series regulars/EPs and rep contact info.
  • Reach out to reps to gather talent/EP birthdays and add to corresponding grids
  • Assist in brainstorming and researching gift ideas
  • Draft talent itineraries for events
  • Draft congratulations letters for awards nominees
  • Assist with the development of event rundowns, post event recap and presentation decks, and communications materials related to the event
  • Assisting with coordinating team meetings with internal departments and outside vendors
  • Help brainstorm and research charities for department donations and create donation cards
  • Work events on-site as needed (in the greater New York City area)
