What is the duration of the internship?
The internship is part of the WSP Summer Internship Program and is scheduled for 12 weeks, starting on May 19th, 2025.
Is there an age requirement for this internship?
Yes, applicants must be 18 years or older.
Are there any qualifications required for this internship?
Yes, candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or related Undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2025 or later.
Will there be any relocation or housing assistance provided?
No, there is no relocation or housing assistance associated with this internship.
What type of tasks will interns be expected to support?
Interns will support a variety of engineering tasks including project research, fieldwork, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
Is prior work experience required to apply for this internship?
No prior work experience is required, but experience using AutoCAD or Revit and prior internships or leadership involvement on campus is preferred.
What skills are important for this internship?
Competent interpersonal and communication skills, basic proficiency with technical writing, office software, and a strong desire to advance skills in Water Resources Engineering are important.
