What is the primary responsibility of the Architecture Archives Library Technician?
The primary responsibility is the processing and preliminary description of recently acquired collections in existing finding aids in Access to Memory (AToM), as well as assisting researchers in the reading room and covering the circulation desk when necessary.

Essential duties include coordinating the processing of collections, providing reference and research services, creating descriptive metadata for architecture archives, communicating effectively, contributing to special projects, and modeling the University’s values of diversity, integrity, responsibility, excellence, compassion, creativity, and teamwork.
What qualifications are required for this position?
Candidates should have a high school diploma (with a Bachelor of Art in Architecture preferred), a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, knowledge of architecture and urban planning, and experience providing reference or research assistance in an academic library.
