To be successful in this role, candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in leave and absence management, including experience with a third-party administrator. Experience with FMLA, ADA, and disability leave management is also required.

While not mandatory, certification such as Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) is preferred for this role.
