Responsibilities

  • Product and Collection Development of the Bridal MTO and Special Projects
  • Compiling technical sheets and BOMs. Inserting product data in PLMflex and SAP.
  • Fabrics, trims, hardware research, and working with suppliers on custom fabrics developments. Able to liaise with suppliers about quality, sustainable options and certifications, best prices, MOQ and delivery timeframes.
  • Monitoring consumptions, ordering fabrics and components accordingly.
  • Recording costings and creating costing sheets.
  • Assisting during sampling and production fittings.
  • Liaise with Head Pattern Cutter to ensure garments are fit for production and all relevant data is recorded ensuring complete detail and accuracy.
  • Dealing with manufacturers during sampling phases.
  • Inspections and cataloguing of fabrics and components upon arrival.
  • Supporting with the design of the seasonal selling books, liaising with the Graphics Department as well as the creation of fabric books for each collection.
  • Able to promptly address and solve any technical and quality issues arising during production or with any fabrics.
  • Lease with our Milan office for the purchasing of fabrics, trims, and accessories. Logging all orders and fabric/trims details into SAP and Fabrics Master Chart.
  • Manage shipping documents (through logistic dept), track deliveries and log relative data into Fabric Master Chart/SAP.
  • Chasing PO’s creation from accounts and issue to suppliers and log relative data into Fabric Master Chart.
  • Coordinating and chasing invoice payments for suppliers.
  • Monitoring stock levels in house and sample rooms.
  • Handle fabric swatches requests from the stores.
  • Upkeep and labelling of the fabrics on studio shelves.
  • Prepare seasonal fabric books and create and update seasonal developments chart.
  • Order studio/production packaging supplies (garment bags, hangers, swing tags, tissue paper). Log in all data into the Packaging Master Chart/SAP.
  • Any other ad hoc tasks required.
