Responsibilities

  • As a senior clinical support worker you will support junior CSW's and work closely alongside the chemotherapy nurses, consultants and allied health professionals to deliver/ provide individualised, holistic care in a safe and caring environment to cancer patients.
  • The post holder will carry out assigned tasks involving direct care of chemotherapy patients in support of, and under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse, in the Macmillan Primrose Unit. Including the running of outpatient oncology clinics, phlebotomy clinic and working in the chemotherapy suite on a rotational basis.
