What is the primary purpose of the Community Support Worker - Rapid Response role?
The primary purpose of the role is to assist people in Torbay and South Devon to remain in their own homes by providing short term care and support following a period of acute ill health or hospitalisation.
What kind of experience is required for this position?
We are looking for motivated staff with community experience who can demonstrate flexibility and independence in providing care and interventions for patients within their homes.
Are there any specific eligibility requirements for this role?
Yes, unfortunately, this post is not eligible for sponsorship in line with Home Office standards.
What are the working hours for this position?
The working hours vary as the service operates on a 7-day rota system, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays, from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm.
What type of duties will I be responsible for as a Community Support Worker?
Duties will include provision of personal care, monitoring patients' conditions, assisting individuals to remain in the community, liaising with other professionals, and assessing the risks and needs of service users in accordance with their care plans.
