Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Plant Leadership and production supervision to determine the descriptive and predictive data/statistical needs of the plant.
  • Design and create interactive dashboards, maps, apps and other modes of data collection & collection & presentation to provide the clearest possible real-time and trend visualizations of plant performance and issues.
  • Design, write, and test queries to access data and prepare standard, cadenced reports that are intuitive, widely understandable, and support timely, data-informed decision-making in day-to-day operations and problem solving.
  • Provide ad hoc reports, optimization models, etc. to Plant Leadership to provide insight for specific decisions such as those related to the development of strategy and/or those that arise in response to extraordinary circumstances.
  • Develop and implement databases and data collection systems to efficiently and cleanly collect, compile, extract, and organize complex information from multiple systems. Automate these processes to the extent possible.
  • Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot and continuously improve all tools and reports created.
  • Train, support, and advise internal customer-users on use and interpretation of tools and reports created.
