Responsibilities

  • As a Design Assistant - Print & Pattern at Sainsbury's, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Designer / C4 Designer in developing and delivering successful product ranges across the Sainsbury's Group. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the creation of concept, colour, and trend boards, managing project briefs, ensuring timely delivery of design specifications to the Product Development team, and maintaining design / artwork files. You will collaborate closely with designers and buyers, attend trade meetings and events, and provide creative input with your excellent eye for colour and trends. Additionally, you will mentor graduate work placements, contribute to the strategic direction of the design department, and help ensure that PR & Marketing have the necessary assets to showcase each product range effectively.
