Responsibilities

  • Carrying out all necessary formulation development of different dosage forms, such as preformulation studies, laboratory scale studies, optimisation experiments.
  • Handling equipment employed in the formulation development lab.
  • Executing all lab activities in a safe and reliable manner in line with Pharmaceutical GLP/GMP and/or internal guidelines.
  • Perform testing on the Engineering and Validation batches manufactured as part of New Product Introductions or Process Optimisations.
  • Investigate issues with existing products or manufacturing processes during the commercial manufacturing operations with an intent to either resolve the issue or improve the product quality.
  • Generate/update the technical documents based on evaluation of the Formulation and Manufacturing Process.
  • Conduct patent literature survey and database search.
  • Document all work as required by cGMPs on a timely basis.
  • Write up trial batch records as required.
  • Preparation of standard operating procedures.
