Responsibilities

  • Upkeep a preventative maintenance program to minimise cost and maximise use of GSE equipment.

  • Coordinate staff, demonstrating abilities to effectively complete inbound and outbound ramp turnarounds within the specified service level agreements.
  • Responsible for the coordination of training of staff in the accordance with established procedure by means of personal instruction and demonstration.
  • Provide leadership and demonstrate decision making and organisation skills necessary to efficiently meet performance requirements in a changing work environment.
  • Manage future shifts and staffing levels and the appropriate level of staff on duty.
  • Attend meetings as required by Ramp Manager.
  • Liaise with Management, Level 7, Level 6 BSR, Ramp IBC, Service desk Passenger Services Supervisors to ensure operational requirements are being met.
  • Supervisors must be in attendance whilst staff are on duty including coverage of off schedule and adhoc operations.
  • Manage and report OH&S concerns and maintain a safe working environment in designated area.
  • Allocate staff meal breaks in accordance with Menzies Aviation TWU EBA and relevant award.
  • Assist with presenting induction training and participation on interview panels.
