Responsibilities

  • Drive development of system requirements to create new virtual (VR) and mixed reality (MR) experiences, and help advance technology and research roadmap
  • Work on all aspects of system engineering from initial identification of risk, opportunities, and issues at the operational level through to the strategic decision processes.
  • Manage data-driven methods for developing requirements and verification related deliverables, such as specifications, design criteria, system descriptions, and verification tracking
  • Develop processes to ensure proper documentation at all stages of product development, requirements flow, verification and validation, and interaction between various subsystems
  • Ensure Systems Engineering is represented in all design reviews and the needs of various subsystems are properly addressed
  • Coordinate and facilitate technical discussions to resolve requirement issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on blank-slate and early-phase prototyping and product exploration, mapping it to strategic and product questions which need to be resolved
  • Create hardware system metrics, KPIs, standards and tools
  • Develop and execute comprehensive verification and validation strategies to ensure that hardware systems meet the specified requirements and function correctly in the intended environment.
  • Design and implement testing plans, procedures, and protocols to validate system performance, functionality, and reliability, including system-level and subsystem testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing and validation activities into the overall product development process, ensuring that testing is aligned with project goals and timelines.
