What is the primary focus of the Health Promotion Officer position?
The primary focus of the Health Promotion Officer position is to plan and deliver mental health training for children and young people across all Fife secondary schools, aimed at promoting positive emotional wellbeing and reducing mental health stigma.
What qualifications are required for this role?
A degree in a health-related or education field is required, preferably with a postgraduate qualification in health promotion.
Is prior experience in mental health necessary for this position?
Yes, extensive current experience in face-to-face and digital training delivery, as well as knowledge of mental health and wellbeing theory and practice, is necessary for this role.

Yes, you will collaborate with colleagues in Education and Children’s Services, Health & Social Care, NHS Fife, Fife Council, and various third sector and private sector partners.

What is the length of this job position?
This is a full-time fixed-term position for 12 months.
