  • ISTQB Certification or similar accreditation.
  • 3-4 years experience in the area of quality engineering.
  • Proven experience in a quality engineering or quality assurance role and knowledge of Testing standards and approaches.
  • Experience with waterfall and agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership of testing of allocated projects, and willingly undertaking analysis to better understand the application under test.
  • Reviewing design specifications and creating detailed and QA compliant acceptance criteria.
  • Identifying data requirements for testing.
  • Peer reviewing of acceptance criteria from other team members.
  • Executing manual and automated test scripts to ensure that the application behaves as specified.
  • Creating accurate and complete defect reports.
  • Reviewing test coverage for accurate planning of testing duration.
  • Identify the root of technical and functional issues and recommend fixes to resolve them.
  • Supporting project managers / test leads in test estimation and planning.
  • Ensuring compliance with defined project standards on testing policies, criteria, strategy, and procedure.
  • Collaborating with project managers / test leads, business owners, development teams, and operations to ensure alignment.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency, effectiveness, and coverage.
