Responsibilities

  • - Holding keys for the store and being responsible for the store opening and closing processes (FSS only)
  • - Supporting the management team with the daily operations of the store/counter
  • - Reflecting a credible and professional Brand image to all internal and external consumers at all times
  • - Maximising sales through selling, providing excellent service and retail standards
  • - Contributing to efficiencies through adhering to store/Brand/Company Procedures and guidelines
  • - Consistently deliver Brand service and sales expectations at all times
  • - Participate and support the management team in eventing opportunities
  • - Process till transactions effectively, accurately and efficiently; manage queues, as necessary
  • - Answer the phone in the correct manner and deal with consumer queries accurately
  • - Tailor make experience to meet consumer needs providing alternatives and additional items and online, where appropriate
  • - Adhere to appearance guidelines and personal standards
  • - Understand and deliver daily and weekly and Brand KPI’s

  • - Identify faulty stock where appropriate, and take appropriate action
  • - Responsible for the opening of the store and beginning preparations for the day (FSS only)
  • - Responsible for closing and securing the store/counter at the end of the shift
  • - Responsible for banking and till balancing
  • - Ensuring the store/counter is clean and organized
  • - Supervising the cleaning and delivery staff and overseeing them outside of business hours (FSS only)
  • - Follow Brand/store procedures when receiving, checking and unpacking deliveries and actioning stock movements
  • - Store stock as per guidelines and procedures
  • - Accurately and effectively follow stock counting procedures, when required
  • - Effectively follow the replenishment process within agreed timeframes
  • - Accurately action promotions and discounts as per guidelines and/or instruction
  • - Adhere to the daily/weekly deployment rota
  • - Keep abreast of company/store information by means of workplace, team briefs, newsletters or any other forums the Brand utilises
  • - Adhere to all communicated company standards, Policies and Procedures
  • - Offer support and training to colleagues where appropriate whilst ensuring own responsibilities are fulfilled
  • - Assisting cashiers in periods of high customer volume
  • - Treat colleagues as consumers and provide them with the best service possible
  • - Act as a role model and encourage colleagues to achieve agreed standards
  • - Take personal responsibility and ownership for development
  • - Understand the company culture and promote the Brand image at all times
  • - Seek opportunities to share best practice in order to benefit the store
  • - Display a high standard of conduct, performance and behaviour at all times, in line with company guidelines, policy and procedure
  • - Responsible for managing the alarm system, including setting and disarming it (FSS only)
  • - Responsible for ensuring that the security system is in working order
  • - Required to be a part of the store ‘on call’ team should the alarm be triggered out of hours (FSS only)
  • - Identifying problems with working conditions, observed hazards/maintenance issues and reporting them to management
  • - Adhere to store/company Security Policy and Procedures and take personal responsibility
  • - Adhere to store/company Health & Safety Policy and Procedures ensuring compliance to legal responsibilities and obligations
  • - Follow fire safety procedures and understand how to use associated equipment safely
  • - Demonstrate continual awareness of all Health & Safety requirements relating to lifting, carrying and effective use of ladders/steps etc.
  • - Follow and help to organise evacuation/emergency procedures where appropriate
