What are the primary responsibilities of the Lead Environmental Engineer?
The primary responsibilities include performing business development, overseeing and mentoring project-level engineers, preparing technical reports and proposals, managing multiple projects, and interacting with senior management.
What qualifications are required for this job?
Required qualifications include a BS in Civil, Chemical, Environmental or related Engineering field, 7-12 years of related environmental remediation and sales experience, experience with CERCLA and RCRA, and the ability to mentor and direct engineers and technicians.

Yes, preferred qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Engineering, California (Civil) Professional Engineer’s License, PMP Certification, and HAZWOPER training.

The expected salary range for this position in California is between $115,000 and $145,000.
