Responsibilities

  • Serve as a critical thought partner and advisor to our Chief Data & Analytics Officer, leaders, and employees, demonstrating strong executive coaching and influencing skills to enhance organizational performance.
  • Align business objectives with The Hartford’s Data agenda to devise and implement impactful people solutions.
  • Proactively facilitate, design, and execute forward-looking people strategies including talent acquisition, organizational design and effectiveness, workforce planning, career development, skilling, performance management, engagement, succession planning, and retention strategies to build high-performing teams.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and their impacts on the current and future workforce. Implement HR strategies to prepare for the future and ensure the organization remains competitive.
  • Champion initiatives to cultivate a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement within both the Data & Analytics organizations and the HR function; aiming to differentiate the employee experience and position the organization as a the destination to work.
  • Anticipate and lead scaled changes required to evolve the technology and data workforce and its operating model.
  • Utilize data and analytics to identify trends and opportunities that inform people and business decisions.
  • Participate as a leader or member of project teams focusing on HR and cross-organizational initiatives.
