Responsibilities

  • Tracking and summarising key legal updates relevant to Future’s business and providing feedback to the team.
  • Conducting legal research where required.
  • Provision of legal advice and support on a wide range of commercial contracts relating to Future’s business, including digital and print publications, eCommerce, digital advertising, events, licensing, subscriptions, circulation and contract publishing.
  • Dealing with legal helpline queries from across the Future and Go.Compare businesses in a professional and constructive manner (covering topics such as commercial contract issues, competitions and promotions, IP and rights issues, libel pre-vetting, issues relating to advertising e.g. CPA Code requirements).
  • Supporting the team in managing Future’s Intellectual Property Portfolio.
  • Assisting the team with updating and maintaining the legal precedent bank.
