The salary range for this position is $77,718.46 - $99,452.15 annually, plus isolation allowances of $41.07 bi-weekly for Burns Lake and $44.49 bi-weekly for Port McNeill.
Are there any educational qualifications required for this role?
Yes, a post-graduate degree with specialization in natural resource modeling, forest biometrics, resource economics, geographic information systems, or another quantitative discipline is required.
What professional certification is necessary for this position?
Candidates must be registered or immediately eligible for registration as a Registered Professional Forester (RPF) with Forest Professionals British Columbia (FPBC).
Is previous experience required for this job?
Yes, a minimum of three years of experience in forest management with knowledge in quantitative forestry and proficiency with tools like GIS, SQL, Python, and R is required.
