Responsibilities

  • Leads Application Engineering activities within region / locally to execute AE support within the assigned market.
  • Lead the SBU through on-site customer-facing technical activities, including supporting customer/market applications and engineering projects for existing and new business within the defined territory.
  • Being accountable for all AE segment and Technical Center within the territory.
  • Drives success of local SBU ACE projects technically, implement customer roadmaps and conduct plant audits/line surveys to increase ACE Growth impact pipeline.
  • Responsible for lunch of new product, customized products applications, new product demonstrations and troubleshooting for customers. Support Sales team in building value proposition.
  • Work with application equipment to provide solutions to enhance customer adhesive related processes. Manage equipment-related projects from concept to completion.
  • Validation of products at laboratory, simulating line conditions to ensure right first-time product launch.
  • Responsible for Application Engineering laboratory setup, equipment procurement, application standardization, implement regional / local best practice to meet customer and market needs / expectations.
  • Provide inputs to PD regarding application / processing equipment and collaborate on new product development and testing.
  • Work closely with Sales, PD, product management, Quality and other departments to ensure successful application deployment and user satisfaction. Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams.
  • Ensures compliance with all Henkel and regulatory requirements (safety, legal, environment), and relevant industry/customer specifications.
  • Responsible for products application / technical training and coaching of field sales forces and customers.
  • Promote internally SBU innovations and best learnings cross accounts.
