What qualifications are required for this position?
Candidates should have a B.Tech in Food Technology and experience of 3 to 5 years, with exposure to food safety systems and ISO systems. Knowledge of HACCP/AIB and TPM is preferable.
What kind of quality control checks will I be responsible for?
You will be responsible for conducting various quality control checks, including frying samples for cook tests, visual inspections of processing areas, and analytical tests for oil quality and product dimensions.
How often are quality checks conducted during production?
Quality checks are conducted at various intervals, such as hourly checks for fried chips and every 4 hours for oil quality, slice thickness, and other parameters.
What actions should be taken if the quality tests indicate a crisis situation?
If the test results indicate a crisis situation, you should inform the Quality Manager, who will then conduct a complete trial run of that lot of potatoes to determine the appropriate course of action.
Will I be required to communicate with other departments?
