Responsibilities

  • Perform civil/structural engineering design for marine and upland components
  • Perform berthing and mooring analyses
  • Develop plans, specifications, schedules and cost estimates for variety of port and Navy projects
  • Understand maritime codes and references including UFC, PIANC, ASCE-61
  • Prepare basis of design, design calculations, technical reports, alternatives analysis, and study reports
  • Understand interdisciplinary requirements for port projects
  • Attend client meetings and perform site visits
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
