What is the primary focus of the Product Delivery Manager role?
The primary focus is to deliver products that contribute to Public Health Scotland’s mission to improve life expectancy and reduce health inequalities in Scotland.
What kind of products will the Product Delivery Manager be involved with?
The Product Delivery Manager will primarily focus on large-scale, complex digital products, including the corporate website and intranet, as well as other projects varying in size and scope.
What qualifications are required for the Product Delivery Manager position?
A degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant subject area such as product or project management, or a related field, along with significant product and project management experience.
What project management techniques should the candidate be familiar with?
Candidates should have specialist knowledge of project management techniques and methodologies, particularly Agile product delivery techniques.
What are the expected working hours for this position?
The working pattern will be Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
Is there a requirement to work weekends?
Yes, during times of public health emergency or urgent business needs, you may be required to work your normal contracted hours over 7 days, including weekends.
Where are the office locations for this position?
The offices are located at 2 Central Quay in Glasgow and The Gyle in Edinburgh.
