What are the primary responsibilities of a Replay Operator?
The primary responsibilities include monitoring multiple MLB games for potential review, presenting and playing out video footage to Replay Officials, verifying ballpark equipment and communication systems, documenting equipment status, operating Replay equipment, and troubleshooting any issues with Replay devices.
Is experience in live video production required for this position?
While experience in live video and/or production is a plus, it is not mandatory. However, a strong knowledge of baseball and MLB rules is essential.
What is the expected work schedule for this role?
The position requires schedule flexibility, including availability on weekends and evenings, with a commitment of 30-35 hours a week.
What type of equipment will I be working with as a Replay Operator?
As a Replay Operator, you will be working with record/playback servers, MLB's proprietary Replay software, and other related Replay equipment in the Replay Operations Center.
