Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and own close working relationships with domestic dropship suppliers, monitoring performance against expectations.
  • Primary point of contact and liaison between MillerKnoll retail teams and suppliers for all operational objectives.
  • Manage the purchase order lifecycle across retail, contract, and extended lead time (ELT) product. This includes purchase order creation, acknowledgement, revision, shipment, closure.
  • Promptly resolve any internal issues impacting production and partner with suppliers to best meet business needs.
  • Identify shipment delay trends and actively mitigate potential business risks.
  • Hold suppliers accountable through creating and implementing solutions for service improvement and/or issuing chargebacks, where applicable.
  • Assist Planning team with forecasting and purchasing to support the sales and margin goals.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse Operations and Accounts Payable, as needed, to research inventory receipt and invoice discrepancies.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
