RL Connectivity Engineering Manager

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of hands on experience in one or more of the following technical domains: CPU architecture (x86/ARM/RISC), memory technologies, PCIe, CXL and storage.
3+ years of experience in managing a technical team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with cross functional collaboration with product and platform teams, as well as non-engineering functions.
Experience with large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, full-stack performance analysis of server applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in a management role with experience recruiting, building, structuring, leading technical organizations, including performance management.

Responsibilities

Build and lead teams to deliver connectivity stack for world-class products.
Integrate, customize, optimize connectivity stack across RL technology verticals.
Collaborate across electrical, silicon, SW, user experience, and connectivity technology teams to define and build software components for RL products
Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members and project peers.
Set clear expectations and create a positive work environment based on accountability, in collaboration with the engineering and management teams
Build tools and architectures to support technology experimentation across the company.
Build development processes that allow for rapid development and experimentation while maintaining a high quality product.
Understand and drive implementation of quality SW development practices across teams and projects.
