Responsibilities

  • Shape the Narrative: Develop and execute innovative communications strategies across press, influencers, and healthcare professionals, driving organic B2C coverage and amplifying CeraVe's medically-anchored messaging.
  • Lead & Collaborate: Manage external agencies, partner with internal medical and brand teams (locally and globally) and collaborate with the wider CDO team to deliver impactful, integrated 360 campaigns across engagement touchpoints.
  • Social Media Savvy: Demonstrate a deep understanding of social media platforms, content excellence, and audience engagement strategies to drive Mentions. Continuously monitoring competitor activities and industry best practices to inform brand strategy.

  • The Senior Communications & Advocacy Manager is responsible for driving the CeraVe UKI Communications strategy to increase organic B2C coverage across press, influencers and healthcare professionals. This role requires a strategic mindset, creative thinking & always on agility to drive engagements and mentions to hit our Share of Influence targets.
  • It involves implementing the brand’s seeding and relationships strategy to ensure we are driving mentions at scale, from nano and micro tiers through to VIP, as well as leading an eventing strategy that drives Share of Engagement results.
  • The Senior Communications & Advocacy Manager needs to be social and content obsessed, constantly with their finger on the pulse, aware of competitor brand activations, social media platforms, content trends, audiences, and industry news, to inspire and inform wider brand team.
  • The Senior Communications & Advocacy Manager will use internal reporting tools to track both individual influencer metrics & total brand performance daily, as well as present learnings on best practice to maximise ROI.
  • The Senior Communications & Advocacy Manager works seamlessly with the PR Agency, Paid Advocacy lead, Brand team & Global team, to achieve total brand advocacy objectives. They also work closely with wider CDO team within LDB to deliver strategic, digital and medical-first social campaigns aligned with the divisional frame.
  • They lead on reputation management for the brand by anticipating crisis and identifying issues related to the brand alongside the Head of Communications & Advocacy, Global team, and the Consumer Affairs & Engagement team.
