What does the role of a Trainee Sales Executive involve?
As a Trainee Sales Executive at Douglas Park Glasgow, you will assist customers throughout their purchase journey, providing support from the initial greeting to handing over the keys. You will focus on building long-lasting relationships with customers while guiding them through the sales process for both new and used vehicles.
What skills are required for this position?
The ideal candidate should be self-driven, have honesty and integrity, deliver outstanding customer service, build rapport with customers, be IT literate, work effectively as part of a team, possess exemplary communication skills (both written and verbal), and hold a full clean UK driving license for a minimum of 12 months.
What kind of training will I receive in the first few months?
In the first 3 to 6 months, you will shadow experienced Sales Executives and the Product Genius team to learn the complete sales process, work closely with the General Sales Manager, Used Car Manager, and Business Manager, and utilise both digital and traditional tools to maximize customer contact and sales leads.
