Requirements

  • Currently studying a degree in Chemical Engineering at an accredited university or college, with one year left to complete after summer 2025.
  • Proficient PC skills including Microsoft® Office Suite
  • Broad technical knowledge in general Chemical Engineering principles
  • Interest in extensive travel to international and domestic locations (required for UOP’s Early Career Program for full time hires) – after the internship, should you be offered a permanent role after completion of studies, this department completes much travel around the globe.
  • Ability to climb ladders in a place of work.

Responsibilities

  • You will work on one or more aspects of technology development and transfer, with meaningful projects and assignments supported by UOP technical experts.
  • You will participate in office-based teams using chemical engineering principles for the design and optimisation of processes and unit operations for the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
  • Interns will also have the opportunity to become more familiar with all aspects of UOP and full-time work opportunities at UOP and other areas of Honeywell.
  • You will be exposed to a variety of functions including Research and Process Development, Process Engineering and/or Technical Service.
  • Experience is gained in one or more of UOP’s key refining and petrochemical technologies with a variety of activities that may include operating pilot plants, designing, troubleshooting and/ or servicing UOP process units, and performing other challenging assignments.
