Responsibilities

  • 1. Assist with the production of ContiMtV, a monthly newsletter delivered to all Continental Mt. Vernon employees.
  • 2. Assist Communication Specialist with updating online communication via online tools, some of which include ContiVision, Mt. Vernon Intranet page and email communications.
  • 3. Provide assistance as needed of inplant promotions and advertisements with local media.
  • 4. Timely communication of all plant publications to hourly and salary employees including mailers, letters, and brochures.
  • 5. Assist with the development and preparation of information for plant speeches.
  • 6. Attend community networking events with Communication Specialist.
  • 7. Assist with inplant employee personnel events.
  • 8. Ensure plant bulletin boards and all other inplant communications tools are maintained with pertinent, up to date information.
  • 9. Review newspapers, magazines, and related articles to update plant on events relating to the automotive and tire industry.
  • 10. Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.
