What qualifications are required to apply for the Complex F&S Design Apprentice position?
Applicants must have GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 5) and Maths (Grade 5) qualifications. A full driving license is also required.
Where will the apprenticeship take place?
The apprenticeship will be based in the Birmingham office, located at 8 Ridgeway, Quinton Business Park, Quinton, Birmingham, B32 1AF.
Will I receive any formal training during the apprenticeship?
Yes, you will undergo training through Train'd Up and will gain a Level 3 Engineering Design Technician qualification. You'll have a day release for this training, which will be conducted remotely.
What kind of work will I be doing during the apprenticeship?
You will be working in the design department, specializing in creating fire and security systems for various markets, learning design fundamentals, and using tools like AutoCAD and Revit 3D modeling.
